Beautiful Gardens at the Louvre. The Louvre is a beautiful building with sprawling gardens that will make for great photography at sunset. To the east of the Louvre, you’ll find Tuileries Gardens which can be photographed in all seasons and during any time of day. The eastern side of Tuileries Gardens is lined by an arcade that provides many opportunities to capture reflections on water or glass. Sunset shots are also possible from inside the gardens near the Eastern end, where it’s more open and less crowded than other areas. I found this great spot under a canopy of trees where the sun dipped down and made for this interesting perspective. It’s important to note that the Louvre is closed on Monday, so plan your visit accordingly so you can visit the museum and tour the gardens.
