Landscape Photography – Silent Canyon
Landscape Photography – Silent Canyon. Here’s a photo that I took in Arizona, USA. While driving from The Grand Canyon to Page Arizona, we decided to stop and stretch our legs at one of the many lookout points along the highway. We walked along a dirt path and eventually came upon this canyon. The canyon was massive and I remember calling out to my wife expecting my voice to echo across the valley! To my surprise, the canyon created a vacuum-like effect and swallowed up my voice in two seconds leaving nothing but silence. We were the only ones there and I remember it being quite peaceful. Post Processing & Camera Settings.
To capture this image, I took single exposures with my Sony a7rII and I used the Creative Flow Lightroom Presets and Brushes to complete the look. Finally, I combined the RAW file and my Lightroom version in Photoshop to finalize the shot.
