Landscape Photography – Mountain to the Moon
Landscape Photography – Mountain to the Moon. I took this photo a few years ago in Switzerland. At this elevation, the air is thinner and the sky turns to a deep blue because you are looking through less atmosphere. Essentially, you are that much closer to space and the moon (haha hence the name). This year I’ve been really focused on building new presets and updating the website and I realize that I’ve been sitting on thousands of photos that I have yet to process. I’ve decided to make it my goal this year to process more images and explore new techniques and styles! For this photo, I was going for more of a film look. I chose to stick to a more muted palette with less saturation. View the larger version of this photo here!
Post Processing & Camera Settings.
To capture this image, I took three bracketed shots EV (-2, 0, +2) and combined them into Lightroom. Next, I used the Creative Flow Lightroom Presets and Brushes (Filterlook Collection). Finally, I combined the RAW file and my Lightroom version in Photoshop to finalize the shot.
