HDR Photography – Place du Trocadéro Paris
HDR Photography – Place du Trocadéro Paris. I took this photo early one morning in Paris, France. This view of the Eiffel Tower surrounded by Place du Trocadéro is probably one of the most iconic shots that you can take in Paris. I love how the tiles create a geometric grid that leads your eye right up to the tower and beyond to the famous lawn at its feet. The golden statues that flank either side of the shot contribute to the overall effect and ties everything together nicely. For the edit, I was going for a clean sunrise that accentuated the light reflecting off of the tiles. I wanted to keep it simple and stick to the textures and colors that I remember seeing that morning. View the larger version of this photo here!
Post Processing & Camera Settings.
To capture this image, I took three bracketed shots EV (-2, 0, +2) and combined them into Lightroom. Next, I used the Creative Flow Lightroom Presets and Brushes (Creative HD Collection). Finally, I combined the RAW file and my Lightroom version in Photoshop to finalize the shot.
