Landscape Photography | Moody Falls
While driving around Iceland we unexpectedly came across this beautiful waterfall just off the highway. When I saw it I instantly knew the shot that I wanted to capture. We parked and hiked our way through the brush to get a closer look. The clear blue water cascading down from the jagged black rock was something truly magical to witness. I wanted a silky smooth look to the water so I used a 10 stop filter to get a long exposure. I composed the shot to include the mossy terrain to give it more depth and dimension. Photographing this place made us feel like we had jumped into a scene from The Lord of The Rings and it’s a memory that I won’t soon forget!
