Landscape Photography – Black Sand Beach Iceland. When you arrive on this beach in Iceland, you feel like you stepped onto the set of some Hollywood fantasy movie. The volcanic rock and the black sand creates this rugged looking landscape, unlike anything you’ve ever seen. It’s no wonder that so many recent movies have been filmed in Iceland, the unique terrain has a great cinematic quality to it. This film look was my jumping off point for the edit. I wanted to create a scene straight out of a movie where you wouldn’t bat an eye if some mystical creature was lurking in one of the caves in the background. Post Processing & Camera Settings.

To capture this image, I took three bracketed shots EV (-2, 0, +2) and combined them into Lightroom. Next, I used the Creative Flow Lightroom Presets and Brushes (Landscape Collection). Finally, I combined the RAW file and my Lightroom version in Photoshop to finalize the shot.
