HDR Photography | Redwood Cathedral
HDR Photography | Redwood Cathedral – This is a photo that I took in the Redwood Forest, which is located just outside of San Fransisco, California. While hiking one of the paths I came across this interesting gully. The light was shining through the giant redwoods creating the perfect opportunity to capture this highly detailed shot. I extended my tripod to get as low as possible to capture all the ferns and plants growing on the forest floor. From this vantage point, the towering trees form an almost cathedral-like canopy. Hence the name “Redwood Cathedral.” To fully appreciate this photo take a look at the larger version here!
