Landscape Photography – The Fisherman
Landscape Photography – The Fisherman. When I was in Hallstatt this past summer I was lucky enough to photograph mountains, valleys, and Austrian architecture but for some reason, this quick little shot seems to stand out for me. I don’t know if it’s the traditional hand-carved boat, or the scale of the towering mountain behind it, something about it intrigues me. To be honest, I couldn’t stop thinking about The Lord of the Rings trilogy while I was editing it. I can just see Frodo fishing off this boat somewhere in Middle Earth with Sam not far behind. Hallstatt really is one of those amazing places that you have to see for yourself one day. I would highly recommend it for landscape photography and I would go back in a heartbeat. To capture this image, I took a single exposure with Sony a7rii and I used the Creative Flow Lightroom Presets and Brushes to complete the look. Finally, I combined the RAW file and my Lightroom version in Photoshop to finalize the shot.
