HDR Photography – Rise and Shine Venice
HDR Photography – Rise and Shine Venice. I woke up at 5:00 am and made my way down to St. Mark’s Square. I’m always surprised to see how peaceful Venice is in the morning. It was still dark, the sun hadn’t risen yet and the only people that were running around the city were bakery/restaurant owners and a few fellow photographers. As the sun came up, I spent a good 30 minutes taking shots of the gondolas from various angles and vantage points. My wife took some photos of me as I went about my business so stay tuned for a behind the scenes post this weekend! View the larger version of this photo here!
Post Processing & Camera Settings.
To capture this image, I took three bracketed shots EV (-2, 0, +2) and combined them into Lightroom. Next, I used the Creative Flow Lightroom Presets and Brushes. Finally, I combined the RAW file and my Lightroom version in Photoshop to finalize the shot.
