HDR Photography – New York in the Rain
HDR Photography – New York in the Rain. I’ve always thought that New York had the best rooftop views. Everyone from Spider-Man to The Avengers call this city their home, and it’s no wonder as these rooftops views have a cinematic, timeless quality to them. So what do I want to photograph when I’m in New York? The skyline and there’s no better spot to capture the view than The Rockefeller Center! This is the North view overlooking Central Park. I was lucky enough to capture an interesting mix of clouds and rain that day which made for an exciting edit. View the larger version of this photo here or on Google Plus!

To capture this image, I took three bracketed shots EV (-2, 0, +2) and combined them into Lightroom. Next, I used the Creative Flow Lightroom Presets and Brushes (Cityscape Collection). Finally, I combined the RAW file and my Lightroom version in Photoshop to finalize the shot.
