Nightscape Photography | Stream of Lights
Here’s a photo that I took on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City! I love taking cityscape shots at night because the lights really pop against the dark inky blue sky. I wanted to capture the cars in motion so I used a half second exposure to allow for a bit of blur. I used a lower f-stop to create a softer look to the image. Despite having a low f-stop, I was still able to capture everything in focus. The trick was to set my focus around the midpoint of the image and use my tripod to keep everything steady. It’s moments like this that remind me that New York is one of the most beautiful cities in the world! Can’t wait to go back!
