Lightroom Presets for Night Photography in Paris

This is a photo that I took of the Eiffel tower at night almost 2 years ago. Although it’s been a few years, I still remember that night like the back of my hand. It was our first night in Paris after all. Earlier that day we arrived at The Charles De Gaulle Air Port after a surprisingly comfortable 7 hour international flight. We grabbed a taxi and headed into town. As we neared the Seine River on our way to our hotel, I knew I had stepped into a new world filled with history, culture and plenty of things to photograph. We took in the sights for the remainder of the day and ended up at a small bistro in the 7^th district for diner. Later that night after a glass of wine (In France, there’s always wine) we were wired and ended up roaming the streets around midnight with our camera in tow. It started to rain but that wasn’t going to stop us. We happened upon this particular spot just…. You know how they say that Paris is even more beautiful to shoot at night? Well, add a little rain and you get a really beautiful shot. The spot light that rotates at the top of the tower was illuminated by the rain, which created a really neat look for the shot.
