Landscape Photography – The Heart of Alsace
Landscape Photography – The Heart of Alsace. Here’s a photo that I took in Eguisheim, France! Eguisheim, which is also referred to by many as The Heart of Alsace was one of the many stops that we made on a wine tour last year. Had I known that it was such an amazing little town, I would have made it my mission to stay the night. Sadly, we only had 1 hour in this quaint little village. Just enough time to snap a few photos and run. The Alsace region of France is known for it’s rolling vineyards and beautiful French/German architecture dating all the way back to the middle ages. This fountain caught my eye as I was exploring the town’s main square. The iron spouts and the emerald green water made for a particularly interesting shot. Something I hadn’t seen before, something decidedly unique! Check out the larger version of this photo here or on Google Plus!
Post Processing & Camera Settings.
To capture this image, I took single exposures with my Sony a7rII and I used the Creative Flow Lightroom Presets and Brushes to complete the look. Finally, I combined the RAW file and my Lightroom version in Photoshop to finalize the shot.
