HDR Photography – Louvre Lights. You wouldn’t know it from this photo, but The Louvre can be quite crowded, even at night. You might expect the crowds to leave once the sun goes down, but it’s actually quite the opposite. The Lourve comes to life at night with photographers, lovers and people looking to enjoy the spectacular light show. During the summer months, you may even find yourself battling other photographers to get the perfect vantage point. Once you find a great spot, make sure that you hang on to it for a few clicks as you will undoubtedly have a line forming behind you waiting to capture their own version of the shot. Despite all of this, The Lourve Lights are definitely worth seeing and I can confidently say that this is one of my favorite photos from Paris!

To capture this image, I took three bracketed shots EV (-2, 0, +2) and combined them into Lightroom. Next, I used the Landscape Presets and brushes from the Creative Flow Lightroom Presets to bring out some subtle details. Finally, I combined the RAW file and my Lightroom version in Photoshop to finalize the shot.
