HDR Photography – Into The Canyon
Blending Light HDR Photography “Into The Canyon” Here’s a shot that I took of Lower Antelope Canyon in Arizona. While exploring the canyons, I came across this interesting scene. Antelope Canyon is a unique place to photograph. The sweeping lines, colorful sandstone and the soft illuminating light creates landscapes like nothing you’ve ever seen before. When I came across this corridor, I had to stop and take a shot of it. I loved the way that the light was far off in the distance and slowly drawing you further into the canyon. It leaves you wondering what’s around the corner.
Post Processing “Into The Canyon” – I took three bracketed exposures EV (-2, 0, +2) and I used my Lightroom Presets on a single exposure (EV, 0) to get some interesting and creative looks. Next, I combined the original three EV (-2, 0, +2) RAW files into Aurora HDR and Photomatix Presets to create a couple of interesting HDR versions! Finally, I mixed all my different “versions” into Photoshop to get the final image!
