HDR Photography – Amsterdam Reflections
Blending Light HDR Photography “Amsterdam Reflections.” Here’s a shot that I took in Amsterdam. This city comes alive at night with people and colorful lights. With all the canals and waterways surrounding the city, I knew that I would be able to capture some beautiful reflections at night. This photo was taken near the train station (Amsterdam Centraal Station) looking across to the downtown area. I loved the contrast between the wispy clouds and the dutch architecture that night. Amsterdam is definitely a place that I would want to revisit!
Post Processing “Amsterdam Reflections” – I took three bracketed exposures EV (-2, 0, +2) and I used my Lightroom Presets on a single exposure (EV, 0) to get some interesting and creative looks. Next, I combined the original three EV (-2, 0, +2) RAW files into Aurora HDR and Photomatix Presets to create a couple of interesting HDR versions! Finally, I mixed all my different “versions” into Photoshop to get the final image!
