Creative Edit | Sunrise at the Citadelle. This is a picture that I took last month while travelling in Quebec City, Canada. I got up early to catch the sunrise over the St. Lawrence River. This is a view from the Citadelle, which is an old military fort dating back to the 1600’s. It’s set high up on a hill overlooking the city, which created a great vantage point for the shot. The castle peaking out on the left is Chateau Frontenac, a famous Canadian hotel. The streetlights were still on so I was able to capture the city while it was still glowing. For the edit I wanted to create a mixture of warm and cool tones. The warm sunrise and streetlights are contrasted with the night sky and grass swaying in the foreground.
