HDR Photography – The Textured Tree
HDR Photography “The Textured Tree” – Here’s a shot that I took in Switzerland! I decided to play with this image a little bit by adding texture layers. Sometimes it’s fun to experiment with different looks and exercise your creativity! While processing this image I felt like giving it a slightly worn, old “mappy” look lol. I layered in multiple textures in Photoshop using different blend modes. I decided to use a concrete texture and a wood texture to complete the look. If you want to learn how to layer textures in Photoshop, check out my free video tutorial below! 155 Hi-Res Textures
Post Processing “The Textured Tree” – I took three bracketed shots EV (-2, 0, +2). I used Lightroom on the middle exposure (EV, 0) to create a couple of different creative versions. Next I combined the original three EV (-2, 0, +2) RAW files into Aurora HDR and also Photomatix to create two HDR versions. This is where I started to play! I added a couple of textures with different blend modes! Finally, I mixed all my different “versions” into Photoshop to get the final image!
