HDR Photography “Sunset at the Arc de Triomphe” – Here’s a shot that I took in Paris, France! I was on my way to the Arc de Triomphe to capture the city lights at blue hour when I came across this “picture perfect” scene. The sun was setting behind the Arc casting a golden glow on to the cobblestone street. I “froggered” my way to the median strip, dodging cars and vespas along the way. I quickly set up my camera, took three shots and immediately ran back to safety! This was probably the fastest shot I’ve ever taken. It was a real Triumph! Haha

Post Processing “Sunset at the Arc de Triomphe” – I took three bracketed shots EV (-2, 0, +2). I used Lightroom on the middle exposure (EV, 0) to create a couple of different creative versions. Next I combined the original three EV (-2, 0, +2) RAW files into the New Aurora HDR and also Photomatix to create two different HDR versions. Finally, I blended all my different “versions” into Photoshop to get the final image!
