HDR Photography – The Throne Room
HDR Photography – The Throne Room. Here’s a photo that I took in Normandy, France! This medieval-looking room is located in Mont Saint Michel Abbey (The famous church located at the top of Mont Saint Michel.) I can only imagine how many craftsmen and artists it took to create a room like this. The pillars, arches, and chiseled stonework throughout is truly impressive. The soft light from the large windows brings your eye to the center of the room and created an interesting focal point for the image. When I look at this shot, I imagine a roaring fire in the far right corner and a royal throne complete with an old medieval king perched in front of it. Hence the name “The Throne Room!” Check out the larger version of this photo here or on Google Plus!
Post Processing & Camera Settings.
To capture this image, I multiple exposures with my Sony a7rII and I used the Creative Flow Lightroom Presets and Brushes to complete the look. Finally, I combined the RAW file and my Lightroom version in Photoshop to finalize the shot.
