HDR Photography – Ice Fields in Switzerland
HDR Photography – Ice Fields in Switzerland. Here’s a photo that I took in Switzerland. This shot was taken from the Jungfraujoch Mountain, which is widely known as the “Top of Europe” because these mountains mark the highest point in Europe. You wouldn’t know it from the photo, but it was fairly warm that day. We visited one late afternoon in June and the sun was so intense that I needed to take three exposures (bracketed shots) to ensure that I had all the RAW info that I needed. This is where HDR photography can come in handy! Check out the high-quality version here!
Post Processing & Camera Settings.
To capture this image, I used my Sony a7r. I took three bracketed shots EV (-2, 0, +2) and combined them into Lightroom. Next, I used the Landscape Presets and brushes from the Creative Flow Lightroom Presets to bring out some subtle details. Finally, I combined the RAW file and my Lightroom version in Photoshop to finalize the shot.
