Creative Edit: Morning Sunshine – Tim Martin
Here’s a photo from an early morning in Mexico. I would always wake up with the thought of “What’s the sun/clouds doing today?” I feel like every morning is Christmas morning when I travel, it’s full of a surprises and all I need to do is run outside to discover them! The shadows from the palm trees seemed to stretch across the ground… notice the far left large shadow is actually a palm leaf shadow not a trunk? haha I know that seems like a basic observation but I always try to look at scene with fresh eyes!
Processing “Morning Sunshine” I took three bracketed shots EV (-2, 0, +2). Then I combined the three exposures in Lightroom and in Photomatix to make two different HDR images. Next I used Lightroom presets to create multiple versions/samples. Finally I combined all images in Photoshop for the final image.
