Blending Light HDR Photography – Colourful Rooftops
Blending Light HDR Photography “Colourful Rooftops” – Here’s a photo that I took in Rome, Italy. Just as the sun began to set and the lights came on, I found this great lookout point! One thing I love about “blue hour” is the mix of blue and orange tones that you get from the lights. The warm glow of the city contrasted with the cool night sky created a nice mix of complementary colours! This image reminded me of a “Where’s Waldo” scene because I kept finding new rooftop gardens everywhere I looked. With a view like this, who wouldn’t want a rooftop patio?
Post Processing “Colourful Rooftops” – I took three bracketed shots EV (-2, 0, +2) I used Lightroom on a single exposure (EV, 0) to create a couple of different versions. Next I combined the original three EV (-2, 0, +2) RAW files into Aurora HDR to create an HDR versions Finally, I blended all my different “versions” into Photoshop to get the final image! To get the subtle glow effect in this image I used the New Aurora HDR 2017!
