Awe-Inspiring Photos | Waterway

Awe-Inspiring Photos Waterway. When we visited Amsterdam a while back I enjoyed photographing the historic canals. I love the challenge of capturing different cultures and the Dutch really honor and appreciate their roots. Instead of knocking down crumbling homes and buildings they preserve and improve upon them. The area looks similar to how it did decades ago and I like how the modern vehicles look lined up against the water. The contrast creates this interesting tension between two different eras which is thrilling to photograph. I stood on a bridge and waited until the timing was right to take the shot as a boat floated upstream and into the frame. To create this image I used the Lightroom Film Collection
