RAW Series AP160 | Agfa Portrait 160 Inspired Presets & Profiles for Lightroom

The look is the look, on any supported camera.

Film emulation for RAW files: the Portrait 160 look is locked inside each raw look, on a camera profile built for your exact camera.

Inspired by Agfacolor Portrait 160, the ISO 160 professional color negative Agfa named for the work it was made for. On Agfa’s own professional data sheet it carries the finest grain figure of the ten films listed, RMS granularity 3.5, and the highest resolving power of any color film on it, 150 lines per millimeter. It is the first Agfa stock in the RAW Series. Most film presets apply one recipe on top of whatever profile your camera happens to load, so the same look renders differently on every body. AP160 fixes what sits underneath: camera profiles individually built for each of 759 camera models, all made to one base rendering, with the Portrait 160 look locked inside the raw looks on top.

Choose from 24 looks: 6 RAW looks that render through your camera’s own profile, and 18 universal looks that work on every RAW and JPEG image. Both rows carry an Amount slider from 0 to 200. Then finish with the 64-tool LAB: film fades, grain by ISO, vignettes, and print-style finishing.

Before you buy

01

Do the RAW looks work in Lightroom (the cloud version)?

No. The cloud version of Lightroom does not support third-party camera profiles, so the 6 AP160 raw looks are a Lightroom Classic feature. Your download includes a dedicated Cloud Edition with the 18 universal looks and the complete 64-tool LAB, tested in the cloud app.

02

Why don’t I see the AP160 raw looks on my photo?

They appear only when a RAW file from a supported camera is selected in Lightroom Classic. That is normal Lightroom behavior, not a broken install. On any other file, use the AP160, nc and vc rows.

03

Portrait 160 was a fine-grained film. How much grain will I get?

Only as much as you want. The camera profiles carry no grain at all: grain comes from the matching presets, where every AP160 preset arrives with a grain mask cut at ISO 160, and from the LAB’s own grain tools. Push it, pull it back to nothing, or swap in another ISO. Agfa’s data sheet puts Portrait 160 at RMS granularity 3.5, the finest figure of the ten films on it, and the collection follows that.

04

Do the looks work on JPEG files?

Yes. The 18 universal looks and the LAB work on every photo, including JPEG, with an Amount slider from 0 to 200. The 6 RAW looks need a RAW file, because they render through a camera profile built for your exact camera.

05

Does it work with my camera?

AP160 includes a profile for each of 759 camera models, covering Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Olympus and OM System, Pentax and Ricoh, Leica, Hasselblad, Minolta and Konica Minolta. If your camera is newer than the current release, the universal looks still work on every photo, and profile updates are free for the stock you own.

06

What makes this different from a normal preset pack?

Most film presets apply one recipe on top of whatever profile your camera happens to load, so results vary from body to body. The AP160 raw looks lock their settings inside the look and always load a camera profile built individually for your camera model, 759 of them across 10 brands, so every slider starts at zero.

07

Agfa film is gone. Does that matter?

Not for this. Agfa’s color film production ended in 2005, so Portrait 160 is hard to find and harder to have processed. This collection is a Lightroom rendering inspired by it: 24 graded looks with matching presets and the 64-tool LAB, applied to your RAW files afterwards and adjustable or removable at any time, on 759 camera models across every brand listed above. No film, no lab, no scanner.

08

How do I install the RAW Series AP160?

Open Lightroom Classic, choose File > Import Develop Profiles & Presets, select the Lightroom Classic zip from your download, and restart Lightroom. A step-by-step install guide is included in the download.

Instant download, then free profile updates for the stock you own.
