Inspired by Fujichrome Astia 100F, the professional color reversal film Fujifilm built for skin: the softest tones and most subdued colors in the Fujichrome line, gradation that stays continuous from the highlights down into the shadows, exceptionally fine grain at RMS granularity 7, finer than Provia 100F by Fujifilm’s own measure, and the color fidelity that made it the stock for fashion and portraiture. It is also the first slide film in the RAW Series; the other four stocks are color negatives. Most film presets apply one recipe on top of whatever profile your camera happens to load, so the same look renders differently on every body. A100F is different: it ships a camera profile built individually for each of 753 camera models, every one verified against the same master rendering.

Choose from 24 looks: 6 RAW looks that render through your camera’s own profile, and 18 universal looks that work on every RAW and JPEG image with an Amount slider from 0 to 200. Then finish with the 64-tool LAB: film fades, grain by ISO, vignettes, and print-style finishing.

Do the RAW looks work in Lightroom (the cloud version)?

No. The cloud version of Lightroom does not support third-party camera profiles, so the 6 A100F raw looks are a Lightroom Classic feature. Your download includes a dedicated Cloud Edition with the 18 universal looks and the complete 64-tool LAB, tested in the cloud app.

Why don’t I see the A100F raw looks on my photo?

They appear only when a RAW file from a supported camera is selected in Lightroom Classic. That is normal Lightroom behavior, not a broken install. On any other file, use the A100F, nc and vc rows.

Astia is a slide film. Does that change anything?

Not in how you use it: these are Lightroom profiles, so they render any RAW file from any camera in the list. What the slide heritage changes is the character. Astia was the softest and most subdued film in the Fujichrome line, built for skin and faithful color rather than punch, and the rendering follows that. If you want more color on a given frame, the vc rows and the LAB are there.

Do the looks work on JPEG files?

Yes. The 18 universal looks and the LAB work on every photo, including JPEG, with an Amount slider from 0 to 200. The 6 RAW looks need a RAW file, because they render through a camera profile built for your exact camera.

Does it work with my camera?

A100F includes profiles for 753 camera models across 10 brands: Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Olympus, Pentax, Leica, Hasselblad and Minolta, one profile for each camera. If your camera is newer than the current release, the universal looks still work on every photo, and profile updates are free for the stock you own.

What makes this different from a normal preset pack?

Most film presets apply one recipe on top of whatever profile your camera happens to load, so results vary from body to body. Every RAW Series camera profile is built individually for one camera model and verified against the same master rendering, 753 of them across 10 brands.
