Privacy Policy

Quick Reference: Privacy Policy Summary

Category Details
This Policy Covers presetpro.com and freepresets.com, both operated by Presetpro Inc.
Data Collection Email addresses (newsletter and contact form), your name and message if you write to us, order details through FastSpring’s checkout, IP addresses (in hosting, security, download and signup records), account details and comments if you have them, and, only if you click Allow, analytics and browser notification data.
Cookies Our optional analytics and notification cookies run only after you click Allow in our cookie notice. Embedded YouTube and Vimeo videos can set their own cookies when a page with a video opens. Change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Key Partners FastSpring (checkout), Mailchimp (newsletter), Google Workspace (our email), Google Analytics through MonsterInsights (only if you click Allow), OneSignal (freepresets.com notifications, only if you click Allow), Kinsta and Cloudflare (hosting and security), Akismet (comment spam checks on freepresets.com), Font Awesome (icons), and YouTube and Vimeo (embedded videos).
User Rights (2026) Access, correct, delete and port your data, and opt out at any time, including through a browser Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.

This policy covers presetpro.com and freepresets.com. It explains what personal data we collect when you visit either site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Our own optional cookies are used only if you click Allow in our cookie notice; embedded YouTube and Vimeo videos are the one exception, explained under Embedded Content. We last updated this policy on October 6, 2026, so that it describes what both sites do today. The terms used in this privacy policy also reflect our Terms of Service.

Our commitment to photographers: As creators of advanced digital imaging tools, we respect your privacy. We collect only what we need to run these two sites, deliver your downloads and orders, support you, send the newsletter you asked for and see which pages help visitors, and we never sell it.

Who we are.

Presetpro.com and FreePresets.com are operated by Presetpro Inc, based in South Bruce Peninsula, Ontario, Canada. The services named in this policy, such as FastSpring, Mailchimp, Google, OneSignal, Kinsta and Cloudflare, may process your data in the United States and other countries. Our website addresses are: https://www.presetpro.com and https://www.freepresets.com. Both sites are hosted by Kinsta and delivered through Cloudflare, which process your IP address and the details of each request to deliver our pages and protect them from attacks.

Personal data that we collect and why we collect it.

Cookies, Tracking & Consent

We use cookies and similar browser storage. Entries that make the sites work, or that remember small things such as not showing you the same popup again too soon, are used without asking. Optional ones, analytics on both sites and browser notifications on freepresets.com, stay off until you click Allow in our cookie notice. Embedded YouTube and Vimeo players are the exception: they load when a page with a video opens (see Embedded Content & Share Buttons). Decline, no answer, or a browser Global Privacy Control signal keeps them off. Your answer is kept separately on each site, and you can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Every entry our own sites set is listed in Cookies and similar technologies below; embedded videos and FastSpring’s checkout window set their own, under their own policies.

FastSpring Checkout & Our Product Catalog

  • Service Purpose: Secure global checkout, payment, tax and delivery of your downloads.
  • Implementation: Products are listed on our own site with WooCommerce, which here is only a catalog. The cart, checkout and payment are run by FastSpring, an independent ecommerce reseller.
  • Data Categories: Billing details, tax location and email address, entered in FastSpring’s checkout.

WooCommerce takes no orders on our sites, and its order-tracking cookies are switched off. On presetpro.com, FastSpring’s checkout script loads on every page except the homepage, so FastSpring receives your IP address and the page you are on, and keeps your cart in your browser, before you open the checkout. To open the checkout in your country, we ask Cloudflare which country your connection comes from and pass that country to FastSpring. When you buy, or take a free download through our checkout, FastSpring collects the personal data you enter and gives us secure access to your order so we can deliver your download and provide technical support. If you enter your email address in the checkout and leave without finishing, FastSpring may email you a reminder about your order. If you have clicked Allow on presetpro.com, we note where your visit came from (the campaign tags in the link, the site that sent you, such as a search engine, freepresets.com or our newsletter, and the first page you opened) and add it to your FastSpring checkout session when the page loads, so any order you place shows which pages lead to sales. Purchases are also covered by FastSpring’s Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics (only if you click Allow)

  • Service Purpose: Understanding which pages visitors read and how they find our sites.
  • Implementation: Google Analytics 4, set up through MonsterInsights. It does not load at all until you click Allow in our cookie notice.
  • Data Categories: A random ID stored in a cookie, the pages you view, clicks on download links and on links to other sites, a few events such as whether a discount offer was shown or clicked, and general device and location information.

We use Google Analytics to understand traffic on both sites. Decline, no answer, or a Global Privacy Control signal keeps it off. Google Analytics receives your IP address to estimate your general location; Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store it. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising: Google signals and ads personalization are turned off, and we add no advertising tags to our sites. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Newsletter (Mailchimp)

  • Service Purpose: Delivering our free presets and our newsletter.
  • Implementation: The signup form on freepresets.com passes your email address to Mailchimp, with double opt-in, without keeping a copy. The Subscribe Here! link at the bottom of both sites opens Mailchimp’s own signup page instead.
  • Data Categories: Email address, the time of your signup (with a shortened IP address) and of your confirmation (with the IP address you confirmed from), the consent wording you agreed to on our own form, and basic email engagement (opens and clicks).

When you sign up in the popup on freepresets.com, our own signup form (no third-party popup service) passes your email address to Mailchimp, which then emails you a confirmation link. For those signups Mailchimp holds the record of your consent: when you signed up (with a shortened IP address), when you confirmed (with the IP address you confirmed from), and the exact wording you agreed to. The Subscribe Here! link at the bottom of both sites opens Mailchimp’s own signup page instead, where Mailchimp collects your address directly, records your consent with its own checkbox and uses Google reCAPTCHA to stop spam. Signups before September 29, 2026 came through MailMunch, a popup service we no longer use, which passed them to Mailchimp. Our sites store no subscriber data. We use opens and clicks to choose which presets and offers to send. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time. See Mailchimp’s Privacy Statement.

Browser Notifications on FreePresets.com (OneSignal, only if you click Allow)

freepresets.com can send browser notifications about new free presets through OneSignal. OneSignal loads only after you click Allow in our cookie notice, and notifications are sent only if you also allow them in your browser’s own prompt. To stop notifications, turn them off in your browser’s site settings for freepresets.com: changing your cookie choice does not unsubscribe you. See OneSignal’s Privacy Policy.

Contact Form, Account Security & Downloads

When you write to us through the contact form on presetpro.com (WPForms) or by email, your name, email address and message are kept in our email, which Google Workspace hosts, and may also be stored on our site, and are used only to reply to you. If you have a user account on either site, WordPress keeps your username, email address and a securely hashed password, and accounts can be protected with two-factor authentication (miniOrange). When you download a file, our download system (Download Manager) may log your IP address and the time of the download to deliver files securely and enforce download limits.

Comments

Comments are turned off on presetpro.com. On freepresets.com they are open on a few older posts and pages. Where they are open, we collect what you enter in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user agent, and send them to Akismet (Automattic) to check for spam. Our comment form does not save your details in cookies. A hashed version of your email address may be sent to Gravatar (Automattic) to show your profile picture; see Automattic’s Privacy Policy. After your comment is approved, it is public together with your profile picture.

Embedded Content & Share Buttons

Some articles include videos from YouTube or Vimeo. An embedded player loads from YouTube or Vimeo when the page opens, and those services may collect data, set cookies and track your interaction with the video under their own privacy policies. A few other page resources also load from their providers’ servers: icons from Font Awesome on both sites, and FastSpring’s checkout script on presetpro.com pages other than the homepage. Embedded YouTube players are run by Google and may contact Google’s advertising servers when the page opens. Our cookie notice runs from our own servers. Our share buttons are plain links: nothing is sent to a social network unless you click one, and then that network’s own policy applies.

Cookies and similar technologies

This section covers presetpro.com and freepresets.com. Both sites use cookies and browser storage (small entries your browser keeps for a website). Analytics and notifications are optional: nothing in those two tables runs until you click Allow in our cookie notice. The Necessary and Site function entries are used without asking: Necessary ones make the sites, downloads and checkout work, and Site function ones only remember small things, such as not showing you the same popup again too soon. None of them leaves the site, except what FastSpring needs for your checkout: your cart, a coupon code from a link you followed, and your country.

Necessary

Site function

Analytics (only after you click Allow)

Notifications (only after you click Allow)

Our text fonts are served from our own sites, except on our Web Stories (at /web-stories/), which load fonts from Google Fonts; some icons load from Font Awesome. Many pages also have a lightweight AMP version (its address ends in /amp/ or ?amp). AMP versions and Web Stories load Google’s AMP framework from cdn.ampproject.org and run no analytics; AMP versions also show the author’s picture from Gravatar. Neither has our cookie notice or a Cookie settings link, because nothing optional runs on them. FastSpring’s checkout opens in a secure FastSpring frame over the page and sets its own cookies under its own domain; see FastSpring’s privacy policy. Videos embedded from YouTube or Vimeo are loaded from those services and follow their policies.

Your choices

Analytics and notifications stay off until you click Allow in the cookie notice. Decline, or no answer, keeps them off, and so does a browser that sends a Global Privacy Control signal, even after Allow. Your answer is kept separately on each of our two sites. To change it, use Cookie settings here or the link at the bottom of any page; the notice will ask again. If you turned on browser notifications, turn them off in your browser’s site settings for freepresets.com: changing your cookie answer does not unsubscribe you. You can also delete any of these entries in your browser settings at any time.

AI Data Governance

We are committed to responsible data practices. We do not use your personal information, comments, or submitted photography to train generative AI models without your explicit consent.

How long we retain your data.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept until the comment is removed. We keep Google Analytics data for 14 months. Mailchimp keeps your subscription record, including the record of your consent and any unsubscribe, until you ask us to delete it. FastSpring and our own order records are kept as long as tax and legal obligations require. Messages you send us, download logs and user accounts are kept only as long as we need them to support you, or until you ask us to delete them.

What rights you have over your data.

You have comprehensive rights over your personal information. Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

  • Confirm if we are collecting your data and access it.
  • Request corrections to any inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data, except records the law requires us to keep.
  • Obtain a portable copy of your data.
  • Opt out of data sales, sharing, or targeted advertising. We do not sell your data or use it for targeted advertising, and a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser automatically keeps analytics and browser notifications off on our sites.

You can change your cookie choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at contact@presetpro.com.

How we protect your data.

We use secure servers, and every page on both sites is served over encrypted HTTPS. Payment data is processed entirely by FastSpring and is never stored on our servers. User accounts can be additionally protected with two-factor authentication.

Children’s Privacy.

Our sites are meant for adults: our Terms of Service require you to be at least 18 years old to use them. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us at contact@presetpro.com and we will delete it.

Breach Notification

If a breach affects personal data we are responsible for, we will report it to the relevant authorities and tell the people affected as quickly as we can, and always within the time the law requires.

Changes to our Privacy Policy & Contact Info

We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy policy. Any updates will be posted directly to this page. If you have any questions, please contact us at contact@presetpro.com.

Common Questions

Do you sell my personal data?

No. We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the services that run our sites and deliver our products and newsletter, such as Kinsta, Cloudflare, FastSpring and Mailchimp, with Google Analytics and OneSignal only if you click Allow, and with YouTube or Vimeo when a page includes one of their videos.

How can I delete my data?

Email us at contact@presetpro.com and we will delete it, except order records that we and FastSpring must keep for tax and legal reasons. You can also unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link at the bottom of every email.

Do you honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals?

Yes. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics and browser notifications stay off on presetpro.com and freepresets.com, even if you click Allow in our cookie notice.

How do I change my cookie choice?

Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. Your choice on that site is forgotten and our cookie notice asks you again.
