Free film LUTs for Final Cut Pro

How to install
- Quit Final Cut Pro, then open the installer and follow its steps.
- Open Final Cut Pro. In the Effects browser, choose Presetpro and drag Presetpro LUT onto a clip.
- Click Browse Looks in the Inspector and pick a look.
Requires macOS 13 or later and Final Cut Pro.
Film packs
Each film pack adds 15 looks inspired by one film to the same effect: Standard, Natural, Vivid, Cool and Warm, each in three strengths. Packs inspired by Kodak Portra 160, Portra 400 and Portra 800 are available now, and Gold 200 is coming soon.
Questions
Is Presetpro LUT really free?
Yes. The effect and one sample look from each film are free to download and keep. The film packs are sold separately.
Does it work with log footage?
Yes. Set Camera in the Inspector to your format and the look converts as you edit. Nine log formats are supported, from Sony S-Log3 to Apple Log 2.
Can I use my own LUTs?
Yes. Load Custom LUT in the Inspector loads any 3D .cube LUT, and it is saved inside your project.
Does it work on Windows or iPad?
No. Presetpro LUT is for Final Cut Pro on a Mac with macOS 13 or later.
